Xiangshui New Universe Environmental Technology Limited was incorporated in July 2011 as a wholly foreign-owned enterprise by New Universe Environmental Group Ltd. In August 2013, Xiangshui New Universe became a sino-foreign equity joint venture with NU ENVIRO holding 65% equity interest. Xiangshui New Universe is located in Xiangshui Eco-chemical Industrial Park, Xiangshui, Yancheng City, Jiangsu Province, China. It specialises in the detoxifying, reduction and recycling of industrial waste with the use of advanced technology. Its annual disposition capacity reaches 33,000 tons.
In recent years, Xiangshui in Yancheng City has been active in drawing capital and business in order to develop the local economy. In Yancheng district, the three economic pillars are petrochemical industry, salt chemical industry and biochemical industry. As a result, a significant amount of industrial solid waste has been produced daily. The waste needs to be disposed of in no time by a qualified solid waste treatment centre.
