Mold Design
(CAD/CAM/CAE)
Having part
3D design ready at hand, either directly from our customer or through
our re-engineering services, and also customers' idea, requirements and
specifications as inputs for the process, our mold designers will start
preparing, either a 2D and/or 3D mold design concept depending on
customer's request, to be discussed with his engineering team before
mold manufacturing.
We utilize "Pro-Engineer", "Solidworks" & "CATIA" to design 3D
mold designs and AutoCad for 2D assembly molds designs.
|
|
| Engineering
analysis will be performed to check and select optimum design features
including, but not limited to, construction rigidity, mechanical
behavior, parting lines and plastic flow analysis using Mold Design and
Flow Softwares. |

Upon
customer's approval of mold design, mold detailed drawings will be
proceeded, where all the 3D geometry required in a mold assembly can be
constructed, visualized and verified before the mold being actually
machined. The whole mold assembly such as A plate, B plate, additional
inserts, moving parts and even the water-lines and pin-holes are ready
for simulations to guarantee the quality of products, and CAM
preparations then start up in coordination with our project management
and manufacturing teams.
